So, Hi.

Introductions?

My names Meggie, I’m an amateur photographer and thought I’d do myself a little website/blog.

Well, I was told it would be a very good idea if I did,

I’m not new to blogging by any means, I used to run a blog called “So It Goes” but retired it just under 2 years ago. However, I’m a little rusty on the old talking about stuff on the interwebs thing, but I’m sure I’ll get there.

I run a little Facebook Page  showcasing my wares too, but little explanation goes on it for each picture, so I guess here is where I get to ramble on about photography woes and successes.
I’ll photograph pretty much anything, I picked up a camera (a little sony cybershot) when I was 16. Unfortunately, my mental health kind of whacked out and made me put my camera down (well, not want to pick it up) for a few years.
Things were rough but now I feel like I can create again, I still have low times, but now my camera helps me distract and work through them.
Luckily I’m blessed to have supportive people in my life who believe my work is good, and push and encourage me to do things that scare the sh*t out of me and tell me that “YOU ARE NOT TERRIBLE AT THIS MEGAN”.
And lend me cameras when my beloved D80 popped, even if it was a Canon…
Anyway, I reckon that’s enough to be starting with, I’ll do my best to post regularly.
